Queen Victoria Museum and Art Gallery – Inveresk Railyards Tasmania
I was approached by the QMAG to produce an installation piece for the opening of the new Museum in 2001.
The new museum was located on the former site of a busy railyards and workshop employing hundreds of men and women. It was now a deserted site holding many silent stories of the past. I loved the idea that the ground itself could tell forgotten tales of the activity and toil and human stories of the past.
